August 14 | Last day

August 14 – Last Day in Residence, Bay Preserve at Osprey –

In between packing up and saying goodbyes, we dedicated some time recording details of our surroundings at the residence.

We got out for some moon photos on the evenings of both the 13th and the 14th. While the buildings and the grounds at the Bay Preserve are picture perfect under all light conditions, we were surprised to meet up with a small group of fish making a meal of the green algae hanging from the wharf. As we watched and took photographs, they returned, again and again, pulling hungrily at the plants. They saw us there but were not bothered enough to give up on the algae. Those fish gave the appearance of a group of pet animals out on a picnic event.
